PHYSICAL TRAINING

The Marines define physical fitness to include, "a healthy body, the capacity for skillful and sustained performance, the ability to recover from exertion rapidly, and the confidence to face any situation."

 

Physical fitness has benefits for everyone. Among these benefits are improved muscle tone, cardio-respiratory endurance, and improved flexibility. Cadets also achieve body weight regulation, improved quality of sleep, and reduced mental tension and stress.
